Kinomichi is the youngest child in the series of Japanese budo sports. Kinomichi emerged from aikido.
It is all about contact and encounter. Kinomichi radiates joy, lightness, suppleness and openness.
The techniques derived from aikido are performed in wide, large movements and with mutual respect between the partners. The movements are elegant and graceful, dance-like and dynamic, sometimes meditative, and you can often see a smile on their faces. Sometimes it looks like fighting, sometimes like dancing.
Kinomichi can be practised at any age. You don't need to be a well-trained athlete, but you do need to enjoy movement and meeting a partner.
The course is taught in German.
