Footmesa is a new trend sport from Brazil that combines elements from many popular sports such as soccer, volleyball, spikeball and table tennis.
The aim of the game is to attack the cue ball with head or foot on a table top in such a way that it becomes impossible for the opponent to maintain the rally. The ball can be touched with almost all parts of the body (only the arms are not allowed). A maximum of three contacts are allowed before the ball must return to the tabletop. In the game mode "doubles" (2v2), a player may not touch the ball twice in succession. In this sport, unlike table tennis for example, there is no fixed direction of play, resulting in spectacular rallies and frequent changes of direction with 360° of fun. In addition to the "2v2" game mode, Footmesa can also be played in a direct duel (1v1) or in the round robin variant with any number of players.
In the Footmesa workshop you will get a small insight into the sport.
