Kurstext: Lust auf Musik, Bewegung und gemeinsames Tanzen? Dann ist der Balfolk-Workshop genau das Richtige für dich. Balfolk umfasst traditionelle und neu interpretierte Tänze aus Frankreich und Europa, die heute auf Folk-Bällen und Festivals getanzt werden.
In diesem Workshop lernst du einfache Grundschritte und typische Tanzformen kennen: mal im Kreis, mal als Paar, mal in Reihen oder Ketten. Tänze wie Mazurka, Scottish oder Chapelloise werden Schritt für Schritt erklärt und gemeinsam ausprobiert. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Freude an der Bewegung, das Miteinander und das Ausprobieren in entspannter Atmosphäre. Der Workshop bietet dir eine unkomplizierte Einführung in die Welt des Balfolk und eignet sich ideal zum Reinschnuppern.
Mitzubringen: Bequeme Kleidung; saubere Tanz- oder Turnschuhe mit heller Sohle oder rutschfeste Socken.

Course description: Would you like to enjoy music, movement and social dancing? Then this Balfolk workshop is perfect for you. Balfolk includes traditional and newly interpreted dances from France and other parts of Europe, commonly danced at folk balls and festivals.
In this workshop, you will learn simple basic steps and typical dance formations: sometimes in circles, sometimes in couples, sometimes in rows or chains. Dances such as mazurka, scottish and chapelloise are taught step by step in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. No previous experience is required. This workshop offers an easy and enjoyable introduction to the world of Balfolk and is ideal for trying it out.
